WORLD DIABETES DAY - 19-11-2024
On 19 November 2024, Niraamaya Institute of Health Sciences organized a program to mark World Diabetes Day. The event commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome address by Ms. Varsha, SNA President, who invited the dignitaries to light the ceremonial lamp.
Shri Rathnakumar, Honourable Secretary of SVH Education Society, addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of World Diabetes Day. Dr. Naveen Ballal, Director of NIHS, conducted an informative session on diabetes and its impact on health.
The chief guest, Shri Rathnakumar, distributed prizes to the winners of the model-making competition. First-year B.Sc. Nursing students presented a skit highlighting awareness about diabetes. Mr. Likith delivered the vote of thanks, and the program was efficiently hosted by Ms. Parvana and Mr. Darshan. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
