Nari in Pink Saree – Women’s Day Initiative

On February 27, Niramaya Health Sciences, Bantakal, in collaboration with JCI Shankarpura Jasmine, organized a marathon as part of a cancer awareness program in observance of Women’s Day. Mrs. Malini Shetty, President of the Gram Panchayat, inaugurated the event.

Dr. Naveen M. Ballal, Director of NIHS, and Mrs. Roshani Poonja, medical superintendent of Kapu PHC, addressed the gathering on cancer awareness, while Dr. Flavia Castelino provided valuable insights on breast cancer.

NIHS students actively participated in the marathon and contributed by preparing awareness placards, making the program impactful and meaningful in promoting women’s health and awareness.
